Hi, I’m Shane — a caregiver, advocate, and someone who knows firsthand how overwhelming it can be to care for a loved one.
This journey started when my sister and I became full-time caregivers for our mother. We were thrown into a world of doctor visits, medications, paperwork, and emotional ups and downs — all while trying to keep our own lives afloat. It was hard. It was humbling. And it taught me just how much support caregivers truly need.
That’s why I created Shane’s Helping Hands — a place where caregivers and seniors can find real help, practical tools, and someone who understands. Whether it’s grocery shopping, filling out forms, scheduling appointments, or just being a listening ear, I’m here to help make life a little easier.
My mission is simple: to serve with heart, respect, and reliability. I may not have a license, but I have something just as valuable — lived experience, compassion, and a deep respect for the people I serve.
